Please note this is not a typical yoga retreat, it is a travel culture/adventure retreat with options to do yoga/meditation.
As they say in Thailand, this trip will be same same but different from my previous retreats!
You will have the flexibility to customize your trip and of course you can always add some extra time at the front end, the back end or both. If you can't do the full 3 weeks, contact me about the option to join for 2 or preferred time range and balance owing will be adjusted.
Below is a tentative detailed schedule. Depending on the group and interests, slight changes may happen.
A little different than past retreats, perhaps even more diverse.
Arrive Mar 2 or earlier
Mar 2 - settle, explore, Sunday night market
Mar 3 - tour 2 local temples, free time
Mar 4 - monk chat, temple tour, free time
Mar 5 - leave for Pai, before arriving stop and Canyon/sunset view point, hot springs
Mar 6 - enjoy Pai, walking street, local temple, long neck tribe village. relax
Mar 7 - tour Lod Cave, waterfall, natural springs, old China town village, look out
Mar 8 - travel back towards Chiang Mai, stop half way, transfer, go to village, village school, stay over night, see elephants
Mar 9 - short hike to hot springs, go to waterfall then back to Chiang Mai
Mar 10 - rest day in Chiang Mai
Mar 11 - 1 or 2 day meditation retreat at Monk Chat (optional - highly recommend but option to stay back at hotel and do something else - cooking class, tours etc)
Mar 12 - optional day 2 of meditation retreat, back to hotel that night
Mar 13 - fly to krabi
Depending on the interest in the meditation retreat, there is the option to fly to Krabi a day earlier. We will make this decision as a group.
Stay in Ao Nang Mar 13 - 15 (temples, beach, snorkel, scuba, massage, kayak, day trips, etc)
Mar 15 go to Railay until Mar 17 (same activities as above plus rock climbing)
Mar 17 go back to Ao Nang until Mar 20 (more opportunities for various activities and/or relax)
Mar 20 fly to Bangkok until you decided to go home.
Hotels included Mar 2 - Mar 22. Kim can book extra nights before and after for you.
There is the ability to do just a two week retreat but highly recommend the three weeks if you can!
If doing the 2 week, balance owing will be adjusted according to the dates you attend.

Meals - to many great places to be limited to eating at one place. Melas in Jungle ARE included.
Taxis (including taxis from/to airport, taxi to/from hotel. (It is not possible to confirm these costs prior to travel, they are a minimal cost)
Any activities you want to do - cooking class, scuba, snorkel, rock climbing, etc. These can all be done at a fairly low cost. Do as little or as much as you want.
The 2 day meditation program is by donation , no fixed cost to join.

Sept 2025 Retreat is a joint retreat with Kim Wilkinson and Marisol Apaza (Wayra Qero). Marisol is the daughter and granddaughter of Kim’s Shaman Teachers, she is a Shaman herself and an incredible tour guide.
Deposit of $150 is CAD
The balance of $2,950 is in US. By Apr 2025 a payment of $650 US must be sent to Marisol via PayPal (or send to Kim she can send for you). Then remaining balance can be paid when you arrive in Peru or any time prior.
Details/Itinerary:
Sept 22 - 30
Includes Accommodations Sept 21 to Sept 29, meals, flight Lima to Cusco, flight Cusco to Pucallpa, flight Pucallpa to Lima. Two Train rides. Entrance fees for sacred sites, ceremony fees. Only extra fees is your shopping, or any extra food you want - but you won’t be hungry, the portions in Peru are ridiculously large!
Itinerary
Day 1 Sept 22 - pick up from hotel in Cusco, drive to location for cleansing ceremony, have lunch, drive to Pisac, enjoy, explore, shop
Day 2 Sept 23 - drive to go on small hike to waterfall ceremony. Travel (train) to Aques Calientes to stay overnight (leave most belongings in Pisac) enjoy the town, shop, there to explore Machu Picchu next day
Day 3 Sept 24 - bus up to Machu Picchu , guided tour, back to Aques Calientes for lunch, train back and van back to Pisac to stay overnight
Day 4 Sept 25 - leave Pisac drive to Pachanta area, stay with family in traditional home to be ready for the next days trip.
Day 5 Sept 26 - horse backed up to Apu Ausangate, ceremony, ride back down, drive to Cusco, stay overnight and fly out next morning.
Day 6 Sept 27 - fly to Pucallpa, check in to Shamans hostel
Day 7 Sept 28 - Ayahuasca Ceremony
Day 8 Sept 29 - Ayahuasca Ceremony
Day 9 Sept 30 - fly to Lima. Then fly home later that night or stay a few days go home when you want.
It is suggested to come a few days early maybe Sept 19 or 20 so you have a few days to adjust to altitude. You can explore Cusco, shop, etc. must be in Cusco by Sept 22 latest!!!
